New Advanced Features in DSCharts
- Chart Snapshot and Save as Image
DSCharts now has 2 easy ways to export your charts to different applications in a variety of formats. The "Copy To Image" button allows you to copy the chart and paste it into Word, PowerPoint, Paint and others. The "Save As Image" option allows you to save the image in a folder location of your choice and as whichever file type you prefer.
TIP: Use this functionality to easily add an AspectDSC created chart to presentations and reports.
- Intra-day Time Period Zooming
DSCharts now lets you save intra-day charts zoomed in to a specific time period. You can follow the last hour, 30 minutes or 10 minutes of trade activity and this level of zoom will save automatically.
TIP: Combine a Last Price with the Bid and Ask price on an intra-day chart for greater understanding of market movement!
- Export Chart Pricing Data
DSCharts also has 2 simple ways to export the underlying price data within a chart to multiple applications, or in .csv format. The "Copy Data To Clipboard" button copies all of the underlying chart data - including high, low, open, close and volume - and then pastes it into Excel. The "Export Data" menu option allows you to pick a location to save the .csv file chart data.
Using Time and Sales Panels
Time and Sales not only covers all real-time bids, asks and trades, but also features a filter and 30-day history search. The filter can be used to manipulate the view within Time and Sales to show just the bid, the ask or trades, or a combination of these. There is also an Advanced filter, accessed by the "More" button. The Advanced filter adds the option to restrict the view by minimum and maximum price ranges.
Also accessed via the "More" button, the 30-day history search function can be used individually, or in combination with other filters to load the Time and Sales data from any time frame within a single day during the previous 30 days.
TIP: Use these filters to manipulate and interrogate tick data for any futures contract for in-depth market analysis!
